Tech Spirit Healthwith Tech Barcelona
Tech Spirit Barcelona's health edition brought hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, startups, investors and big tech firms together at CosmoCaixa. We were there as Tech Barcelona's partner, with the sessions in each attendee's language.

The day
Tech Spirit Barcelona is the annual event of Tech Barcelona, the non-profit association that drives the city’s digital and tech ecosystem, and Tech Spirit Health is its edition devoted to health. The third took place on the morning of 18 February 2026 at CosmoCaixa, within Biocat’s Barcelona Health Innovation Week, and set out to bring local and international voices together to look at the present and future of health from a different angle.
After a welcome from Biocat and Tech Barcelona, the startups Wivi Vision, DeepUll and Qida presented their work. AWS explained how the cloud helps connect systems and get more out of health data, and Google described how it combines DeepMind and Google Cloud to turn complex data into useful information for research and for patients. Investors from Asabys Partners, Invivo Partners and AdBio Partners agreed that differentiation remains key, and Sanofi, Almirall and Reig Jofre discussed a pharmaceutical sector at a turning point. The morning closed with an open conversation between Manel del Castillo, from Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, and Jorge Juan Fernández, from Hospital Clínic.
What we set up
We took part as Tech Barcelona’s partner and set up Speech for the morning’s sessions at CosmoCaixa. A QR code was all each attendee needed to follow them on their phone, in their own language, without installing anything.
