Frequently
Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about bringing real-time multilingual access to your event.

1. How do attendees access Link3rs?

Attendees join instantly through a QR code or simple link. No app download, no login, no friction. They choose their language and start listening or reading in real time from their own phone.

2. Do attendees need to download an app?

No. Link3rs is designed to work directly from the browser, so attendees can access the experience instantly without downloading anything.

3. What does the attendee experience look like?

Simple and seamless. Attendees scan, select their language, put on their headphones, and follow the event through live translated audio, captions, or subtitles on their phone.

4. How many languages does Link3rs support?

Link3rs supports 30+ languages in real time, covering the needs of most international events. If you need a specific language combination, we'll confirm it with you in advance.

5. What equipment do organizers need?

Minimal setup. Link3rs integrates into your existing event audio workflow and is designed to work with very little technical overhead. In many cases, all that's needed is a computer, an audio USB card, and access to the venue's audio feed.

6. Do you offer audio only, or also captions and subtitles?

Both. Link3rs delivers real-time translated audio, live captions, and subtitles, all within the same experience. It's built to improve comprehension and accessibility at once.

7. Do we need booths, receivers, or extra hardware?

No traditional interpretation booths or receiver distribution are needed. Attendees use their own phones and headphones, which keeps logistics lighter and the experience much more scalable.

8. Can Link3rs handle technical or industry-specific vocabulary?

Yes. We can upload custom vocabulary before the event so the system performs better with brand terms, technical concepts, product names, and industry-specific language.

9. Can it run across multiple rooms or stages at the same time?

Yes. Link3rs is built for live event environments and can scale across multiple rooms, stages, and simultaneous sessions, each with its own setup if needed. We've supported high-volume event formats with many sessions running in parallel.

10. How fast is the translation?

Translation happens in real time, with very low latency, so attendees can follow sessions naturally as they happen.

11. How far in advance should we book?

We recommend reaching out at least two weeks before the event so we can align on languages, technical setup, and session requirements. For larger productions, earlier is always better.

12. Can we try Link3rs before committing?

Absolutely. We can set up a live demo so you can experience the quality, speed, and attendee journey firsthand before moving forward.

13. Can Link3rs work in noisy venues?

Yes. Link3rs taps directly into your venue's clean audio feed (the mixer's output), not into the room's microphones. That means crowd noise, music between sessions, or ambient sound don't affect the translation quality — what attendees hear is as clean as the speaker's mic.

14. Can we use it for captions on event screens?

Absolutely. Live captions can be displayed on the main stage screen, side displays, or projected anywhere you need them — alongside (or instead of) the per-attendee phone experience. We adapt the output to fit your show's visual design.

15. Do you provide on-site support?

Yes. For medium and large events we send a technician on-site to handle setup, manage the audio integration, and monitor everything live throughout the sessions. For smaller events we offer fully remote support during the show.

16. Is it suitable for panels and Q&A?

Yes — Link3rs handles multiple speakers and mic-switching naturally, so panels flow as usual. For Q&A, audience members can speak in their own language and be translated for the panelists in real time, opening up the conversation to everyone in the room.

17. Can Link3rs work with Catalan, Spanish and English at the same time?

Yes. Catalan, Spanish and English are all supported alongside 30+ other languages, and they can run simultaneously in the same session. Attendees pick their language on their phone and the system delivers each one in parallel — perfect for events in Barcelona or anywhere multilingual audiences gather.
